1. iPhone 11 Pro Review: Design

With just one look at the back of the iPhone 11 Pro, you can tell this phone means business. The three large camera lenses dominate the top left corner and are initially intimidating. While the iPhone 11 comes in bright colors like green, purple, and yellow, the iPhone 11 Pro is more conservative, with colors like midnight green, space gray, gold, and silver.

2. iPhone 11 Pro Review: Durability

The iPhone 11 Pro, according to Apple, has the “toughest glass ever” in a smartphone. And we put that claim to the test by dropping an iPhone 11 Pro from various heights onto a sidewalk. The outcomes were not favorable.

When the iPhone 11 Pro dropped on its face from a height of about 3.5 feet, the front cracked. Interestingly, when  the phone dropped from the same height, the back did not sustain any damage, but the rear did crack from a shoulder-height drop.

3. iPhone 11 Pro Review: Display and Audio

It’s one thing to test the brightness of the 5.8-inch Super Retina XDR display on the iPhone 11 Pro in our labs. It also impressed the lab with an average brightness of 752 nits. Overall, the iPhone 11 Pro’s OLED panel is quite stunning, thanks to its wide color support and ultrawide viewing angles.

The sweeping landscapes and minute details in people’s faces in the trailer for See, which is coming to Apple TV+, really drew me into the action, though I’d prefer the larger 6.5-inch canvas on the iPhone 11 Pro Max.

The sound quality on the iPhone 11 Pro is equally impressive, thanks to support for spatial audio and Dolby Atmos. When I was watching the See trailer, I had the impression that the driving rain on Jason Momoa’s head was happening all around me, rather than just in front of me.

4. iPhone 11 Pro Review: Camera

The iPhone 11 Pro’s new imaging stack is phenomenally ambitious, even by Cupertino’s imaging standards, with three lenses comprising the rear camera and backed by a wealth of computational photography smarts.

It all starts with a trio of 12-megapixel sensors, each of which is linked to a different type of lens to provide a unique perspective on your surroundings.

There’s a secondary telephoto shooter with 2x optical zoom, just like the iPhone XS and iPhone X before it, but Apple has increased the aperture to /2.0, up from /2.4 in last year’s flagship to let in more light. Meanwhile, the new ultrawide camera has a 120-degree field of view, which is equivalent to a 0.5x zoom.

5. iPhone 11 vs. iPhone 11 Pro vs. iPhone 11 Pro Max

If you’re undecided about which iPhone to buy, here are some key differences between Apple’s various models. The most significant? The iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro are more expensive than the iPhone 11, even though those models are still available for less where they are still on sale.

In exchange for the extra money, you get a third rear camera for telephoto zoom, better OLED displays, a fast charger in the box, slightly better water resistance, and faster LTE.
